Join me the fourth Wednesday of every month for some chatting on men and mischief! From authorly things to the fellas dropping in, who knows what will happen!
Later today I’ll be kicking things off with my first post. Just what makes a Charlie Cochet story? Is it sugar, spice, and everything nice? No, wait, that’s the Powerpuff Girls. I’m talking about author taglines and the ingredients I used for my own new tagline. And yes, the fellas were very much a deciding factor. When aren’t the sticking their noses into everything? (I’m looking at you, Dex.)
Plus, each week on their Wednesday Author Column posts the fabulous folks at Sinfully will gift to one lucky commenter answering the author question, a Kindle eBook from their TBR list. How awesome is that?
Hello all! Today I’m over at Kim Fielding’s blog joining her and Lex Chase for another Disney Dreamer post. This time I’m chatting about Hollywood Studios and the fabulous Indiana Jones stunt spectacular, along with the appearance of an unexpected cast member. I think Dex would approve!

Hello all! This morning I’ll be guest blogging with the lovely Vastine Bondurant! Drop by her blog and learn a little bit about my writing the THIRDS series, plus there’s an exclusive excerpt and a nifty giveaway!
Hello all! Yesterday afternoon I returned from RainbowCon up in Tampa. I had such a great time! Not only did I get to hang with my fabulous partner in crime Michael Rupured, but I got to spend time with old friends and met new ones who I’d chatted to online. I’d list everyone but that would make this post insanely long! I also won some amazing books from the awesome Rhys Ford during the Series & Serials panel which I’m still fangirling over.
I attended some great events and had a blast taking part in my first panels. I was nervous at first, but once I was there with fellow authors and moderators, the nerves fell away and I was so excited to chat. I do wish the Q&A had been at least an hour long because it was so much fun. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my panels and the Q&A. I don’t feel as nervous about my upcoming GRL panels now.
I don’t have pictures because I’m notorious for forgetting to take them. I really need to change that. But there are plenty of pictures on Facebook and I’ve been tagged in quite a few. I do feel like I should start carrying around a little stepping stool because I’m always the shortest. Poor Michael ends up trying to make himself less tall. LOL We had some fabulous dinners. Japanese is one of my absolute favorites. My roomies Lexi Ander and Tandice were uber sweet. The whole experience was just fantastic. I miss everyone already!
Yesterday I unpacked and then packed again for the Dreamspinner Press Author’s Workshop which starts Thursday in Portland. So I’ll be flying out for that. I’ve loads to do before then. It’s getting closer to THAT time!!! I’m on the final (hopefully) round of edits for Hell & High Water. Blood & Thunder edits should be coming through any day now, Rack & Ruin is with my publisher, and I’ll be working on Rise & Fall. Nervous does not begin to cover it. The Hell & High Water blog tour is in the works. There will be smaller tours in between and a bigger tour in December again for Rise & Fall. I’ll make sure to keep you all posted on how the series is progressing.
Tomorrow, Tuesday April 22nd is my guest post at Coffee and Porn in the Morning and I’ll be chatting about dreams and inspiration. I believe it goes up sometime around 10 a.m.
So much more is heading your way, so stay tuned!
There’s also a swgatastic giveaway! Make sure to stop by and leave a comment on the post for a chance to win.
Hello all! So I’m a bit behind on Rack & Ruin, THIRDS book 3 but for a good reason. I’ve just had a little bundle of adorableness arrive. His name is Olly and he’s a seven week old pup. The breeder was supposed to have given Olly over at eight weeks but for personal reasons had to give the pups away a week ahead of schedule. He’s tiny. A toy poodle/dachshund mix.
Today’s his fourth day with me and he’s settling in nicely, though as you can imagine, pup wants to be with his new mommy at all times and protests to his crate training. He thinks it’s play time all the time and I’m resisting coddling him because I don’t want him to develop bad doggie habits. There’s potty training going on though he seems to be a quick learner and by day two he knew exactly where to go to find his water and food bowls. He answers to his name by bouncing over to you and he’s even scratched at the back door to go outside.
It’s hard to get work done with that little face staring up at you but I’m learning to resist the puppy kryptonite. Hopefully I can catch up this week with major word countage during the day. Olly’s forcing me to be a morning person which is quite a feat considering how often I have to get up in the night to let him out of his crate to go potty. And then of course there’s the hour or so of protesting once I put him back in.
Okay, on to the update. There’s still time to enter my giveaway over at The Hat Party. Contest ends this Thursday, April 10th at 11:59pm (EST). Just drop by and leave a comment for a chance to win.
On Friday, April 11th is my RainbowCon Blog Tour post over at Joyfully Jay’s and I’m also giving away a swag bag of goodies. So make sure to check out the post and leave a comment.
This week at the Purple Rose Tea House we have guest authors Julie Lynn Hayes and B. Snow with chats on everything from comedy to cats.
Well that’s it for today! There will be a THIRDS update this week.
